Cadaqués Free Tour
Visit, perhaps, the most beautiful village in the world with the help of our 100% local guide: white houses, cobbled streets, history, hippies, Dalí and more!
Where: Dalí statue, Cadaqués
Languages: Spanish
Time: 10:30
Duration: 1,5 hours
We will first visit one of the most emblematic buildings in Cadaqués, the Casino. It’s a very authentic place, where local people usually meet and chat. We will continue along the main promenade until reaching a small square where, for some centuries, they have been producing and selling some typical sweets that are unique in the world. They are delicious!
From this point we will continue to the historical center of Cadaqués. Narrow streets, white houses and blue windows: it’s a dream place! After a short walk we will reach the Church of Santa Maria, which crowns the village. We will take a short break to admire the panoramic views and get some air. We will then go down slowly and we will pass by the neighborhood of Port d’Alguerthat, one of the favourite places of Salvador Dalí.
We will return back to the starting point along the Passeig Marítim and we will reach the Casa Blava, a modernist mansion on the seafront, valued at more than €4 milion. We will end up near there, in a small cove, to say goodbye while enjoying the best views of the village.
